Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and SautiLink Corporation governing your access to and use of SautiLink websites, account features, applications, content and related services that link to these Terms. By creating an account, signing in, accessing or using SautiLink, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not use SautiLink. If you accept these Terms or use SautiLink on behalf of a business, organization or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and references to “you” include it where appropriate.

Some products may have additional rules, disclosures or feature-specific terms. Those additional terms form part of your agreement for the relevant feature. If a feature-specific term directly conflicts with these Terms, the more specific term controls for that feature to the extent of the conflict.

Who may use SautiLink

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required by law where you live. If you are below the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may need permission from a parent or legal guardian where the law requires it.

You must be legally capable of entering this agreement and not prohibited by applicable law from receiving the service. We may request, estimate or verify age or other eligibility information where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or age-appropriate features.

What SautiLink provides

SautiLink is an evolving social network. Current features can include profiles, Home feeds, posts, media, polls, replies and conversation threads, follows, reactions, reposts, saved content, search and discovery, notifications, direct messages, Rooms, account controls, verification, moderation reports and appeals.

Features may differ by account, device, age, location, release stage or technical availability. Some tools may be experimental, beta, limited or changed without becoming a permanent part of the service.

Free and optional paid features

SautiLink currently provides core access without requiring a subscription. We may in the future offer optional paid features, creator tools, marketplace services, subscriptions, advertising products or other commercial services. If a feature requires payment, we will show the price and any additional terms before the transaction. Your mobile carrier, internet provider, app store or other third party may charge fees independently of SautiLink.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees that every current feature will remain free forever or that a particular feature will remain available unchanged.

Account security, names and identity

• Provide information that is accurate enough for the account and feature you are using, and keep essential recovery information current.
• Keep passwords, one-time codes, recovery links and signed-in devices secure. Do not knowingly give authentication credentials to unauthorized people.
• Do not impersonate another person or organization, mislead people about affiliation, or use a username or profile designed to facilitate fraud or rights infringement.
• Do not buy, sell, rent, transfer or traffic accounts or usernames in ways that undermine identity, safety or platform integrity.
• Notify support@sautilink.com promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

SautiLink may apply disclosed limits to changes of names, usernames or other identity fields to reduce impersonation and abuse. We may reserve, reclaim, lock or reassign usernames where reasonably necessary to address infringement, impersonation, security, platform operations or violations of policy.

Third-party sign-in

If you choose Google, Facebook or Microsoft sign-in, you authorize the relevant sign-in flow. Your relationship with that provider is also governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Losing access to a third-party identity provider can affect a sign-in method, so you are responsible for maintaining available account recovery options.

Verification

A verification badge or other identity signal indicates that SautiLink has applied a verification process or account classification. It is not an endorsement of a person's views, expertise, products, conduct or content. Verification may be changed, suspended or removed if information becomes inaccurate, the account changes materially, eligibility is lost, or the account violates SautiLink rules.

Freedom of expression, with responsibility

SautiLink is built to support open expression. Good-faith criticism, journalism, political discussion, satire, advocacy, art, disagreement, unpopular ideas and scrutiny of institutions or public figures are not violations merely because someone finds them uncomfortable or critical.

Expression rights on SautiLink do not create a right to threaten people, exploit children, coordinate serious harm, expose private information unlawfully, harass others, commit fraud, violate intellectual-property rights, compromise systems or prevent others from using the service.

Context can matter in moderation, including newsworthiness, public interest, intent, severity, target, likelihood of harm, educational or documentary purpose, and whether less restrictive action can address the risk.

You own your content; we need a licence to operate it

You retain ownership of posts, images, videos, audio, messages and other material you create, to the extent you own those rights. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed to upload or share content.

When you submit content to SautiLink, you grant SautiLink a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, cache, process, transmit, display, distribute and technically adapt that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve and provide SautiLink according to the audience and product settings you choose. This includes creating technical copies, thumbnails, previews, transcoded media and search or discovery representations.

For content you make public, the licence also allows SautiLink to display and link to that public content in SautiLink discovery, search, previews and reasonable product promotion that demonstrates the service. We do not acquire ownership of your content merely because you post it.

The licence generally ends when content is deleted from active SautiLink systems, subject to reasonable processing time, backups, legal or safety retention, and copies or reshares that exist independently through other users or external services.

Feedback

If you voluntarily send suggestions, ideas or product feedback, you allow SautiLink to use and develop that feedback without payment or obligation to implement it. This does not transfer ownership of unrelated confidential material you clearly identify and that we agree to receive as confidential.

Room communities and local administration

SautiLink calls its group-style community spaces Rooms. A Room may have a category, username, cover image, public or private setting, membership rules and local roles such as Owner, Admin, Moderator and Member.

• Room owners and authorized staff may approve or remove members, manage local roles, adjust Room settings and moderate Room activity within the tools SautiLink provides.
• Room-level permissions do not override these Terms, SautiLink-wide safety policies, legal obligations or platform-level moderation.
• A private Room restricts access through product controls, but SautiLink does not guarantee secrecy from other members. Members can copy, screenshot or disclose content they can access.
• Room usernames, categories and public descriptions must not impersonate others, mislead users, infringe rights or facilitate prohibited conduct.

Marketplace and creator categories

A Room category such as Marketplace, Creators, Business, Fashion, Technology or another topic is a discovery and organization label. Unless SautiLink expressly says otherwise, SautiLink is not a party to transactions between members and does not guarantee a seller, buyer, creator, product, service or offer. Members are responsible for lawful transactions, taxes, permissions, product claims and due diligence.

Direct messages and private communications

Direct messages are intended for conversation participants rather than the public feed. You must not use messages for spam, threats, fraud, credential theft, unwanted bulk solicitation, illegal transactions or harassment.

Recipients may save, forward, screenshot or report messages. Unless a feature is expressly identified as end-to-end encrypted, you should not assume that message content is end-to-end encrypted. SautiLink may process and store messages as described in the Privacy Policy to deliver the feature, maintain security, investigate reports and comply with law.

Content and conduct that are prohibited

You may not use SautiLink to create, upload, promote, coordinate, request, facilitate or distribute content or activity involving:

• Child sexual exploitation: child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, trafficking or sexualization of minors.
• Violence and serious harm: credible threats, incitement to violence, terrorism support, facilitation of serious violent wrongdoing, or targeted instructions intended to cause serious physical harm.
• Hate and harassment: targeted harassment, stalking, bullying, dehumanizing attacks based on protected characteristics, or coordinated abuse intended to silence or intimidate a person.
• Sexual abuse and privacy violations: non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, coercive sexual content, doxxing, or disclosure of highly sensitive private information without lawful authority.
• Fraud and deception: phishing, credential theft, scams, deceptive fundraising, impersonation, materially deceptive schemes, or manipulation designed to obtain money, accounts or sensitive information.
• Cyber abuse: malware, unauthorized access, attacks on systems, credential stuffing, service disruption, bypassing security controls, or instructions clearly intended to compromise systems unlawfully.
• Illegal or regulated transactions: unlawful sales or facilitation of prohibited goods, trafficking, controlled substances, weapons transactions or other activity prohibited by applicable law.
• Spam and platform manipulation: fake engagement, deceptive account networks, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, bulk unsolicited messages, artificial trend manipulation or automation that evades platform controls.
• Unauthorized scraping or interference: automated collection that bypasses access controls, rate limits or technical restrictions; attempts to reverse engineer protected systems where prohibited by law; or conduct that materially burdens, disrupts or probes SautiLink without authorization.
• Rights infringement: copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual-property violations.
• Enforcement evasion: using alternate accounts, automation or other means to evade a restriction, suspension, moderation decision or safety control.

This list is not exhaustive. Conduct that is unlawful, creates a serious safety risk, compromises service integrity or materially interferes with other members may also be restricted even if not listed word-for-word above.

Moderation, visibility actions and appeals

SautiLink may use reports, technical signals, automated tools and human review to enforce these Terms and related rules. Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• add context, warnings or labels;
• limit recommendations, distribution or discoverability;
• restrict replies, messages, posting, Room participation or other features;
• remove content or media;
• remove verification or identity privileges;
• temporarily lock, suspend or permanently terminate an account;
• restrict content in a particular country or region where required by law; or
• preserve evidence and refer a matter to appropriate authorities where legally required or justified by an immediate serious safety risk.

We aim to use proportionate action, but severe, repeated or evasive violations may justify stronger action without first applying every lesser measure. Emergency safety or legal circumstances may also require immediate restrictions.

Appeals

Where SautiLink provides an appeal mechanism for a moderation decision, you may use it in good faith. Appeals do not guarantee reversal. We may limit abusive, duplicative or fraudulent appeals and may preserve audit information needed to review the original decision.

SautiLink intellectual property and infringement complaints

SautiLink's software, product design, branding, logos, trademarks, documentation and original platform materials are owned by SautiLink Corporation or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not give you ownership of SautiLink technology or branding.

You may use SautiLink interfaces and software only as permitted by the service and these Terms. You may not falsely imply endorsement, copy protected branding in a misleading way, or use our systems to create a confusingly similar service through unauthorized extraction or replication.

If you believe content on SautiLink infringes your intellectual-property rights, contact support@sautilink.com with enough information for us to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, your authority to act and a reliable way to contact you. We may request additional information and may act against knowingly fraudulent notices.

Third-party services, links and technology partners

SautiLink uses third-party technology to operate parts of the service. Current infrastructure includes services such as Supabase and Cloudflare, and SautiLink supports selected Google, Facebook and Microsoft identity flows. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices when they act independently.

Links to external websites, embedded resources or services operated by third parties are provided for convenience or functionality. SautiLink does not control and is not responsible for external services merely because a link appears on SautiLink. Review the external provider's terms before relying on it.

Service changes, maintenance and availability

We may add, modify, test, limit, suspend or retire features to improve SautiLink, respond to legal or security requirements, manage technical limits, prevent abuse or keep the service sustainable. We may also perform maintenance or emergency work that temporarily interrupts access.

We will try to provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects member rights or a feature on which members reasonably rely, where notice is practical. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent support for every device or browser, or preservation of every experimental feature.

SautiLink may introduce paid products, advertising, creator features, marketplace tools or other business models in the future. Material new terms will be disclosed when applicable.

Account restrictions, termination and deletion

You may stop using SautiLink at any time and may request account deletion using available account settings. A deletion request may include a clearly displayed recovery period during which cancellation is possible. After that period, deletion processing may become irreversible. See the Account & Data Deletion page and the Privacy Policy.

SautiLink may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of Terms violations, serious safety risk, fraud, legal obligations, security incidents, prolonged misuse, attempts to evade enforcement, or operation of the service. Where appropriate, we may provide notice, reasons and an appeal route, but urgent safety or legal circumstances can require immediate action.

Termination does not erase obligations or rights that by their nature should survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, prior violations, legal claims, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution and limited lawful data retention.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SautiLink is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every possible attack, available in every location, or that user-generated content will be accurate, lawful or suitable for your purposes.

Members, Room administrators, creators, sellers and other users act independently. Unless SautiLink expressly enters into a transaction or written commitment, we are not responsible for promises, statements, transactions, products or services offered by another member.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SautiLink Corporation and its officers, employees, contractors and operational partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses arising from use of the service where such liability may lawfully be excluded. Any direct liability will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.

Business and organizational users

To the extent permitted by law, if you use SautiLink on behalf of a business or organization, that entity is responsible for claims arising from its unlawful content, conduct or breach of these Terms and agrees to indemnify SautiLink against resulting third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs, except to the extent caused by SautiLink's own unlawful conduct.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory law in your place of residence gives you protections or a forum that cannot legally be waived.

Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact team@sautilink.com so we can try to resolve the issue. Where an informal resolution is not possible, disputes may be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Tanzania, subject to any mandatory consumer or statutory forum rights that apply to you.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision once does not permanently waive it.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when SautiLink features, business models, safety rules or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate or required by law.

If a material update requires affirmative consent, we will request it. Otherwise, continued use of SautiLink after updated Terms take effect means the updated Terms govern future use, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
